In Dual Universe, the political system is expected to naturally arise from the emergent gameplay of territory ownership and conflict. There is currently no in-game mechanics to facilitate political systems beyond corporations, RDMS and the voting system within corporations. The source of power within emergent politics would best fit democratic or authoritarian systems. There is the possibility to implement cross corporation voting system (secret ballots) via lua for a democratic political system. An authoritarian political system fits well into the current corporation mechanics.
