Safe Zones are areas of the game in which all players cannot operate weapons. The large safe zone known as the bubble encircles Alioth (including Sanctuary moon) Thades and Madis with a 90su sphere.
The center of the sphere is at location ::pos{0,0,13771471,7364470.4372,-128971}. the three safe zone planets are 78 su from the center point of the sphere.
Currently a safe zone exists surrounding all planets where weapon fire restrictions also apply. The planetary safe zone extends to 500 km (2.5 su) above the atmosphere. When a player warps to a planet the warp pipe destination is within 2 su of the planet so the player finishes warp within this safe zone.
